Key Stage 4 Results 2018 - Press Release

Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students on an excellent set of results! Pupil premium students have closed the gap in attainment and three times as many gained passes in both English and Maths as in 2017. Maths and science celebrate their best results in five years, despite the new rigorous specifications, and four times as many students gained a strong pass in science than in 2017. Boys are catching the girls up, especially in STEM subjects, and even surpassed girls in history!

Special congratulations go to Emily Hill, who gained 7-9/A grades in all of her subjects. To Matthew Collins, Tom Lally, Stacey King and David Morton, who gained 7-9 grades across all subjects in the Ebacc pillar. To Harry Edgar, Sophie Storey, Nyles Hothersall, Ciaran Foley, and Megan Lally, who all made exceptional progress, achieving 1-2 grades higher than expected across all of their subjects.

We look forward to welcoming many of these students into our sixth form, which has tripled in size this year.

These results represent the significant improvements the school has made over the past year and are a grade up on the previous year.

We wish all of our students the best of luck in their chosen destinations and congratulate them on their hard work.
